It’s never good to be caught by the paparazzi in the buff. Unless, of course, that was your plan all along in order to get your C-list self some much-needed coverage in the various gossip rags. But we digress. Our intrepid spy photographers managed to snap off a giant series of photos of the hotly anticipated 2012 Ford Explorer completely uncovered, and that is a very, very good thing indeed.

For the first time ever, thanks to an unruly gust of wind, we get to see the first-ever unibody Explorer in all its glory. That looks to include a new take on the familiar in-your-face three-bar grille with newly perforated top and bottom rungs bisected by two thin chrome strips up front.
Note, too, the mildly sculpted flanks that lead to the currently en vogue fastback-like sharply raked C-pillar. A closer look at the fascia reveals not-yet-completed projector headlamps ensconced in clear covers that angle well back into the fenders. Lookin’ good so far, we’d say.

Though we don’t quite get a good look at the rear fascia, we do get a clear shot underneath the car from the hind quarters. This is most definitely a front-wheel drive chassis, and though this particular mule isn’t equipped with one, there will surely be an optional rear differential for all-wheel drive duty. All over the world several motor shows are organized. The Geneva motor show is one of the best shows in this category. There are many cars which are really exotic, unavailable and superlative which are so gorgeous that they come under the super cars category. And in fact this show is one of the greatest auto shows of the world. Geneva participates actively in the motor shows.

The 2010 organization of annual Geneva auto show had in fact taken place in the month of March from 4th March to 14th March. This show is actually considered as one of the leading motor shows of the world. This auto show was held in the Switzerland's city of Geneva. The show was organized at the Geneva Palexpo which in fact is a principle centre located next to the Geneva Cointrin International Airport.

Geneva has came back again on the right track for displaying new auto models in order to fulfill customer's basic needs of the cars. In fact, Geneva show is being opened to the news media on Tuesday and Wednesday. This motor show is open to the public on Thursday. Geneva auto show is proud to announce the exhibition of thirty two world premiere production cars and dozen number of concept cars.

Although the Ford Kuga looks fantastic and some of the other 4x4 models also look appealing they have received bad press in the past. This has ranged from stories regarding the increased impact of the vehicle when it hits a child in comparison to a smaller vehicle. Critics originally thought that the Cayenne would be unsuccessful as buyers would not want to buy a vehicle of that nature from a manufacturer with such an extensive sports car heritage. Porsche made a prediction that they would sell around 80,000 Porsche Cayennes, but in actual fact they have sold over 150,000 to date.

o The Cayenne is the first V8-engined vehicle built by Porsche since 1995, when the Porsche 928 was discontinued. Porsche are set to introduce a diesel engine into the Cayenne line-up from March 2009. This engine is to be sourced from VW and will be a 300 PS 3.2-litre V6.

The Chevrolet Volt can be charged from either a standard 120 volt

Hybrids currently cruising our roads, such as the Toyota Prius or Honda Civic, are hybrids because they use gas to power the drive train and electricity is used to increase the miles per gallon a driver can get. The Volt will depart from this formula in a big way. It will have an electric motor and the gas will serve as a way to keep the battery charged; gas won't power the drive train and all and so the car will be "driving" on pure electricity.

GM's plans for the Volt include:

* Being able to plug in and charge up from any standard outlet
* Running up to 40 miles on each charge
* In "generator mode" (gas-powered) the car will be able to run at around 50-miles per gallon
* Ability to reach a full charge in six to six and a half hours

Chevrolet announced at the Geneva Motor Show that it will sell the Volt in Europe, with prices in Germany starting from €41,950 (US$58,560). It will be similarly priced in other European markets, where it will arrive in November 2011.

The Volt's sister car, the Opel Ampera, will also go on sale this year in Europe, at a slightly higher starting price. Unveiled in final production form at the Geneva Show, the Ampera will cost €42,900 ($59,885), but prices can vary in different countries depending on the standard equipment.
